On Thursday, June 8, 2023, the Division of Anatomy, Department of Surgery, the University of Toronto held its annual services to honour those who had donated their bodies to medicine.
Dr. Cindi Morshead welcomed the families and the Rev. Pearce Carefoote led the prayers. Students representing several fields expressed their gratitude for the valuable opportunities to learn and enhance their skills as a result of the generosity of the donors and read their names.
The ceremony inside the Chapel of St. James the Less was followed by a graveside committal service, at which Pipe Major Elizabeth Day played.
