Join us for Doors Open 2026, a city-wide celebration inviting the public to explore some of Toronto’s most iconic and historic sites—free of charge.

St. James Cemetery and Crematorium is the oldest cemetery and crematorium in Toronto, opened in 1844. Visitors are invited to discover its rich history, beautiful grounds, and the historic St.-James-the-Less Chapel.

During Doors Open, guests can take part in guided and self-guided tours and experience the cemetery’s unique heritage.
